I absolutely love Easter, at home it was because we got free candy ofc. But on my mission I've come to understand the real reason and now I love it even more!
As we #HearHim today by remembering Him, I want everyone to take a moment to think about the blessings Jesus Christ has given us.
I wanted to share some things that I am grateful for, these are not in any particular order.
~ I am the most grateful for the people that have been placed in my life, my family, friends, and those that I have been able to come in contact with while serving in the Great OCM.
My family means so much to me, there are times where we may hate each other or be at each other's throats but I wouldn't trade any of them for anyone else.
I am a strong believer in that family does not just mean blood relation, family is all those that love and support you and my friends have always been a huge support to me going through high school and life.
~ Number two on my list is a man that always showed and was a huge example of the second greatest commandment "Thou shalt love they neighbor as thyself." - My football coach, Coach Cazzie Brown. He always said "You can ignite many candles without diminishing your own flame". He was alwas looking for ways to help and seve others.
~ The Book of Mormon - As I have studied and prayed about the Book of Mormon I have come to LOVE and know of its truthfulness. I know that whatever you may be going through, you can find an answer through the Book of Mormon.
~ My Mission. - My mission has been the absolute best experience and the greatest thing I have ever done, I have grown closer to God and His son Jesus Christ, the reason for the Easter Season. I know that Christ suffered for me in the Garden of Gethsemane. He took upon himself not just all of my pain, sicknesses, trials and sins. But everyone who has lived or will live.
I know that He suffered and died on the cross and 3 days later he was resurrected and that HE overcame death, because of Him, I too can one day overcome death and live with Him and my Heavenly Father and all of my loved ones again.

How was everyone else's Easter?
Ours here was pretty good, we got to be with a couple other Elders for the day and had some awesome video chat lessons with members in the branch.
Other then Easter the week has been the same old same old in quarantine, just trying not to go too crazy.
You are all familiar with my hair 😄 and the need to get a hair cut every 3 weeks so I did something this week. I cut my own hair for the first time. ✂ I think it turned out not to bad 😄
Today we did get to go hang with the Greenfield Elders for a bit, we went to a park and walked the trails. It was just good to get out of the apartment 😂
I love you all and thank you for all the support and love!
