Week 78: Hey y'all

This past week was good!

On Tuesday we got in contact with a recent convert that we did know still lived in the area 😂, she is 11 and she is the only one that joined the church from her family.,  They are super nice and awesome!!
Haha, they also have a couple pet lemurs (I'm sad now because I realize I have no lemur emoji 😭) but they are freaken cool! They just kind of climb all over the place and one of them when we first walked in came up to me and just straight up help my hand 😂😂 which I learned is a good thing because that means they are cool with you and feel safe with you, they didn't hold my comps hand🤔😂.

On Thursday we had zone conference (I only have 4 more 😐.... Weird) but it was awesome!!! We watched this video called missionary work and the Atonement by Jefferery R. Holland and it was so powerful, I can't explain the feelings and stuff. (link below)

Week 77: Hey y'all

So this past week we got a lot of snow!  It is finally snowing!!!  Haha but it has been good.  

We helped out with a baptism of a boy in the brach and I got to go on training visits to Talmadge.

Kind of a really short email this week.  We have things we gotta do.  But some other news, my P-day is now from 12pm-9pm instead of 8am-6pm so I can talk later if y'all want!

Week 76: Hey y'all

So this last week was transfers and I am with my new comp Elder Wood, he is from Rexburg Idaho.

For transfers we had to drive all the way down to Dublin... Lol 2 1/2 hour drives are so much fun🙄

But anyways, since transfers it has been pretty good here, we had a huge miracle!!

We had a recent convert that has not been comming to churh for a while reach out to a member this week and came to church!!

So that's awesome!!!

Week 75: Hey y'all

Dang this has been a long week... Welp let's get to it! 

On Tuesday we had a training visit and I went with Elder Bengtzen in Akron.  While we were out walking a blizzard came and we were a good 20 minutes from our car, so we took the opportunity to get some winter pics 😂😂 because what else do you do in a blizzard.

Wednesday we had about 6 appointments with members throughout the day. 

Thursday we had interviews and that is where I found out I will be staying in New Portage and that Elder Norton will most definitely be leaving because he has been here for 6 months. 

After we had Ruud's baptismal interview at the church. 

Friday all I really remember is weekly planning. 

Saturday we had an awesome lesson with people who have been meeting with missionaries in the past! And then we had Ruud's baptism!!! It was so awesome! The Akron Elders had some people they are teaching who came and Ruud had a couple of his friends come, it was super awesome!!

Sunday we started 9:00 church for the new year, and then helped out the Shaffers with stuff they needed to get done. 

Monday and Tuesday we spent a lot of time going around and letting Elder Norton visit people we are teaching and working with for his last few days. 

Today.... 

We got the transfer board last night and found out for sure that I will be staying and will have a new companion.  My new companions name is Elder Wood, that is really all I know about him haha.
