Week 43: Hey y'all

So this last week was super tiring, we had two exchanges not in our area so I wasn't actually in Wooster that much.

Yesterday was a pretty cool day though.  We decided to go across the street to a pavilion to do our studies.  There were people who started showing up to set up for a Memorial Day Veterans picnic.  Then our friend Jerome showed up and we were all surprised to see each other.  We helped them set up and they invited us back for lunch, so we got to meet a lot of cool people.

Week 42: Hey y'all

We had a pretty exciting week with interviews and a couple of exchanges.

Tuesday was interviews/district council, they were awesome.  I love interviews, they help with so much!

Then on Wednesday we had exchanges with the New Philadelphia Elders (New Philadelphia is a town in Ohio) and they were fun, I was with Elder Argueta and he is fun, we mostly did service for this member helping him with painting and planting. 

Then on Thursday we had another exchange with the Assistants to the President, they are awesome.

😂 I don't think I have worked that hard for a long time and I didn't know I could 😂

We had a few awesome lessons with people and we were able to find a lot of people this week.

Week 41: Hey y'all

This last week has been good, I have gotten settled in here in Wooster, this week we have been able to visit some people and we found a few people.

We started teaching this guy and his family and he is super cool! And then there is a lady that the Elders here have been trying to see again, who was super solid, but she has been sick so we haven't been able to catch her.

The weather in Ohio is weird, it has been in the 70's all week but it either feels cold or is hot.. have I mentioned, I don't like humidity! 😂 

There is also a a little college here and it has a castle! So that was fun to go and see 😂

Week 40: Hey y'all from Wooster

So I got transfered to Wooster! 

So far it has been pretty great, it is a very large area mostly because there is a lot of nothing but farm land and then a few towns spread throughout.  My new companion is Elder Rawson (from Las Vegas).  My last companion was also Elder Rawson (from Cottonwood Heights) :)  

I did learn that in my area there is the largest concentration of Amish, so that will be fun haha. 

Other than that I have just been settling in, the apartment is nice! We have two separate full bathrooms 😂 mornings are nice, the only down side is we do have to pay for laundry so that is a bummer.  In my last apartments we had a washer and dryer in our place.

Week 39: Hey Y'all, it's a transfer

I'm still alive 😂 today is just P-day because it is transfer week.

I did find out I am leaving Kirtland, I am sad because it is an awesome area and I have loved serving here, but I know where I am going I am needed. 

I am being transfered to Wooster! Which is apparently the biggest area in the Mission.

This past week we had Zone conference and it was amazing! We learned so much from our leaders and it was a huge spiritual experience.

Those two things are really all I have for this week haha, other than more rain and some warmer weather.

I love you all, I love being a missionary and being able to be serving here in The Great Ohio Columbus Mission. 

Also just a little announcement, today is my 9 month mark!! 🎉🎊🎉
