Week 38: Hey y'all HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!!!!!🐰💐

This past week was pretty good.

Mostly a lot of Tracting and finding. 

On Thursday we started doing some family history and it is awesome!! It's really cool to be able to learn about your family. 

We found this really awesome family the other day in the rain and they let us in haha, we talked about what we do as missionaries and taught them about the Book of Mormon, they took a copy and said we could come back!

Then on Saturday we had exchanges with the other Elders and we had a awesome lesson with a returning member, then we met a guy out fishing and we talked a lot about the Restoration and he took a Book of Mormon and said he would love to Check out our Church!

Week 37: Hey y'all (I don't know what to title anything) ;)

So this past week has been pretty good, a lot of finding, the weather was nice, we did some yard work for service.

Then Friday and Saturday it rained some, then yesterday was the most eventful day, haha! 

I started the morning throwing up and not feeling to well, then we went to church and Elder Rawson gave a talk. I started feeling better as the day went on and it was a pretty nice day with a couple little showers but nothing bad....and then we got a text from a member telling us there are tornado warnings and tornado watches out so we need to be careful. 

So we went back to our apartment for dinner and after we went to visit a guy we had talked to previoulsy that said we could come back.  As we knocked on his door the wind picked up a lot and the sky got super dark really really fast, so the guy didn't answer so we ran to our car and started driving to our apartment but you couldnt see a whole lot while driving because of the rain and the wind. 

There ended up not being a Tornado so we are safe haha 😂 but it was kind of scary haha.

Week 36: Hey Y'all

General Conference was so amazing!!

I feel so blessed that we have a loving God that still speaks to us today through a loving Prophet. 

The rest of the week was pretty good, we did not have much success in finding.

But on Friday we did get stopped by the cops again.... It was cool though😂 the cop just told us to be careful about soliciting because it seems like the only law people know here and he seemed a little bugged about it 😂 

Also on Friday we had interviews and District council, so I had a very spirit filled past few days. 

My favorite talk was from President Dallin H. Oaks during the Priesthood session. 

I liked the story of the Squirrel and the Irish Setter 😂 and I know how true the message is that we cannot just sit back and let something happen, if we have the ability to stop it even just give warning we must. 

I would suggest to all of you to read the talk when you can.

Week 35: Hey y'all

So this week has been a fun one, it was getting a little warmer but then the weather all decided to change so we ended up getting lots of rain and then the next day lots of snow. . .

Other then that the week has been pretty good, we have been able to find a good amount of people. We met this one lady in the park who was taking pictures and trying to find this goose she saw, to get a better picture, so we helped her find that and we were able to talk with her for a bit. 

And then last night while we were walking around we got the police called on us for 2 suspicious guys walking around at night 😂 it ended up being fine since we are missionaries and it's not actually illegal for us to be going door to door.
